Rosemary essential oil Benefits:

  1. Rosemary oil does not improve attention or mental energy in adults with low energy levels.
  2. Rosemary essential oil to the scalp is as effective for increasing hair count in people with male-pattern baldness.
  3. Helps to decrease pain and muscle spasms
  4. Rosemary oil may help reduce tissue inflammation that can lead to swelling, pain, and stiffness
  5. Using rosemary aromatherapy seems to improve some measures of memory. Rosemary aromatherapy also seems to increase alertness.

How to use Rosemary essential oil:

  • Take about 5 drops of rosemary essential oil and massage evenly into your scalp after a bath or shower.
  • Mix with a carrier oil (like jojoba oil or coconut oil) if desired. Rinsing out the oil afterward is optional — though if you do rinse, let the oil sit on your scalp for at least 5 to 10 minutes beforehand.
  • Once diluted, apply the oil to the bottom of your feet or the body part you’re targeting, such as a sore muscle.
